Hello, my name is Anita! You are very welcome to my website.
Here's just a snippet of my background:
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist, holding a Masters degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a registered pre-accredited member of The Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland, which uphold the highest standard of qualifications and code of ethics to ensure you with best practice standards.
Being an Integrative psychotherapist means that I have trained in a number of different therapeutic techniques to deal with a variety of issues. The method is always tailored to you, following a suitable pace, working alongside you with the aim of meeting your therapeutic goals.
I primarily operate from a humanistic perspective, drawing heavily from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Person-Centered therapy and Gestalt therapy as appropriate.
With experience collaborating with individuals across diverse age groups and life phases within both group and one-to-one contexts, I firmly advocate for the power of psychoeducation in fostering constructive therapeutic connections.
Authentic, optimistic interactions are instrumental in nurturing mental well-being and constitute a central tenet of my professional approach.
